-About Samjulien

In 2018, Samjulien began doing yoga and immediately pursued a 200hr Teaching Cert from Yoga Heights DC studio. During this time Iyengar Yoga was introduced throughthe books “Light on life” and “Light on Yoga”, both of which are written by B.K.S Iyengar. Nearing the end of teacher training a google search was made, uncovering Unity Woods Yoga Center which played a pivotal role in continuing the yoga journey. After months of taking classes and attending lectures an apprenticeship was offered from world renown Senior Iyengar Teacher, John Schumacher. With John’s guidance the time arrived to attempt Iyengar Yoga’s introductory cert and fortunately it was acquired in January 2023. This leads to present day where Samjulien is offering classes public and private throughout the DMV area.
