A distinct aspect of Iyengar yoga is building from a strong foundation. Students are encouraged to sign up for an entire series to gain familiarity and confidence. Commitment and repetition is key to improvement.

Beginner friendly classes. Students can expect to go over basic movements instanding and sitting poses. Perfect for those with injuries or want a novice approach.

Level 2

People with a strong yoga foundation who are seeking to expand will benefit in level 2. These classes are for becoming well established in Iyengar Yoga. Expect to be aware of Sanskrit terminology. Regular performance of inversions Salamba Sirsasana (headstand) and Salamba Sarvangasana (shoulder stand) will be conducted.

Level 1

The summer session will focus on forward bends. When the head is below the heart a fresh supply of blood is able to fill the brain. Creating a calm cooling sensation. Students will learn a variety of standing and seated variations. At a pace suitable for optimal memorization.

Let’s get the hot yoga going this summer, with longer holds, harder asanas and cooling forward bends. As the temperature turns up so does our dedication and intensity.
