2:1(Second chapter, sutra 1)
Tapah-svadhyayesvara-pranidhanani-kriya-yogah
Will-power, self-study, and dedication to Isvara (God) together is yoga.

- Isvara Pranidhana: devotion to God
These three aspects together create Kriya Yoga, which is yoga based on skillful action.
